About the Role

Garden City Hospital is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician to join our award-winning team. As a Cath Lab Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiovascular lab.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with scrubbing procedures and monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data
  • Ensure the procedure room is adequately prepared for each procedure
  • Monitor par levels of all instruments and supplies
  • Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities
  • Assist with all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures
Requirements
  • Previous experience assisting with scrubbing procedures and monitoring data, preferably in a Cardiovascular Lab
  • Cardiovascular technician training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred
  • BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
  • Proficient computer skills
