Job Opportunity: Phlebotomist

Gables Search Group is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in assisting in the collection of blood and other specimens for laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and store specimens according to established procedures
  • Properly explain the process of venipuncture and other specimen collection to patients
  • Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes
  • Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order
  • Package specimens for transport and store them according to required temperature
Requirements:
  • Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed
  • Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • High School Diploma or GED
