Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for visits: Complete Advanced Standard room process, including entering chief complaints, taking vital signs, reviewing patient history and allergies, and completing medication reconciliation.
  • Assist with in-office testing: Draw blood, complete mental status exams, EKGs, walking oxygen studies, and point-of-care testing.
  • Administer vaccines and injections: Administer vaccines and other injections within the scope of practice.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments: Schedule follow-up appointments as needed per office policy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team: Collaborate with providers and clinical care teams to monitor and coordinate delivery of care plans.

Qualifications:

Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing or Registered Nurse

Licensure: Active LPN or RN

Preferred Experience: 6 months of work experience as a nurse, preferably in a Primary Care office.
