Facility Maintenance Specialist

This is a full-time role primarily during evening hours (4pm-12:30am). The starting compensation for this position is $14.50 per hour, with the option for weekly earned wage access.
Objective:
Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the cleanliness of designated facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for both guests and staff while minimizing disruptions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, window washing, restroom sanitation, trash disposal, metal polishing, and office upkeep.
- Adhere to approved cleaning protocols using appropriate chemicals in compliance with Safety Data Sheet (SDS) guidelines.
- Restock housekeeping supplies upon delivery and maintain organized storage areas.
- Operate and care for cleaning equipment effectively.
- Engage in prolonged walking, lifting, and moving of materials as required.
- Handle and dispose of biohazard materials following Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
- Respond to customer inquiries and direct them to the appropriate departments.
- Address immediate cleaning or maintenance issues and report emergencies to your supervisor.
- May require driving a company vehicle between facilities to fulfill assigned duties.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals as outlined in Safety Data Sheets is essential. Candidates should possess the ability to interpret safety information and understand public health regulations. Previous experience in Environmental Services or Housekeeping is preferred.
