Physical Therapist, Outpatient Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at ECHN. As an outpatient specialist, you will play a critical role in providing top-notch patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Compensation and BenefitsThe successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $83,000 per year, plus additional benefits including generous vacation time, sick leave, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients based on departmental standards and establish individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' symptoms, level of activity, and medical status to inform treatment decisions.
- Administer physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques to relieve pain and promote recovery.
- Develop and implement effective home exercise programs to maximize independent functional activity.
- Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently in accordance with insurance guidelines and facility policies.
- Graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy with a minimum of a B.S.
- Current licensure in Physical Therapy in Connecticut.
- Certified Manual Lymph Drainage Therapist required.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Personal computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
