Sprayshop Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sprayshop Manager/Automotive Sprayer to oversee our spray operations and ensure the highest quality finishes on our retail displays, fixtures, and pop-ups.

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the sprayshop, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
• Apply polyurethane paints and other finishes to MDF and various other materials used in the fabrication of retail displays and pop-ups.
• Oversee the preparation, priming, sanding, and finishing processes, ensuring surfaces are properly treated and finished.
• Maintain and calibrate spray equipment to ensure optimal performance and consistent results.
• Supervise and train a team of spray technicians, providing guidance and support to achieve the best results.
• Monitor quality control throughout the spraying process, making adjustments as needed to ensure the final product meets company standards.
• Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to understand project requirements and ensure finishes align with the overall vision.
• Maintain a clean and organized sprayshop, adhering to all health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and techniques to continuously improve the quality of our finishes.

• Proven experience as an Automotive Sprayer or in a similar role, with a strong background in spraying polyurethane paints.
• Experience with spraying MDF and finishing retail displays or pop-ups is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of spray equipment, techniques, and finishing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret design specifications and technical drawings.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in a spray environment.
