Clinical Social Worker

Job Summary:

The Clinical Social Worker will work under the general direction of the Senior Psychologist, Correctional Facility (CF) (Supervisor) or the Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker, CF, to conduct assessments and summarize case information for diagnosis, treatment, and dispositional release. The successful candidate will diagnose and/or collaborate in the formulation of a diagnosis, develop, monitor, and modify treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team. They will provide assessments, group therapy, and collateral conferences, and document and evaluate patients' progress in treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and summarize case information for diagnosis, treatment, and dispositional release
• Diagnose and/or collaborate in the formulation of a diagnosis
• Develop, monitor, and modify treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team
• Provide assessments, group therapy, and collateral conferences
• Document and evaluate patients' progress in treatment

Requirements:

• Possession of a valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science
• Completion of a master's degree program from an accredited school of social work, approved by the Council on Social Work Education

Working Conditions:

Travel is required.
