Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced pharmacist to fill the role of Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Select Specialty Hospitals in Davenport, IA.
About the Position:
In this dynamic and challenging role, you will be responsible for providing clinical support, maintaining drug supplies, and promoting quality improvement in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor medication regimens.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication use and improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of medication inventory, usage, and disposal.
- Develop and implement education programs for pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Promote evidence-based practices and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Current State licensure required.
- BLS certification if required by State.
- Maintain a current license in the state of practice.
Salary Information: The estimated salary range for this position is $140,000 - $170,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
