We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic to join our team at the Selma Fire Department. As a Paramedic, you will provide emergency medical services to the community, working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Administer Advanced Life Support services to patients in emergency situations
  • Maintain and operate EMS equipment, including ambulances
  • Provide cardiac monitoring, initiate intravenous access, and administer medications as needed
  • Transport patients to acute receiving and extended care facilities
  • Communicate with base stations and other medical personnel
Requirements
  • Current State of California Paramedic License and Fresno County Paramedic Certificate
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advance Life Support certification
  • Current California Ambulance Driver certificate with a current Medical Examiner's card
  • Possession of an appropriate California driver's license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles
Working Conditions

This is a per diem position with no set hours established and no benefits. The successful candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
