Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Aide to provide exceptional care to our clients in the Manhattan area. As a Home Health Aide with Premier, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety.
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to medical personnel.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.

Requirements:

  • Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
  • Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency.
  • Demonstrated literacy and arithmetic skills.
  • Age 18 or older.
