As a Physical Therapist with Team Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with the goal of helping them recover from injuries, manage pain, and regain mobility. Your exceptional patient care skills, combined with your passion for staying updated in the latest research and techniques, will drive success in our clinics.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring patients achieve good outcomes and are satisfied with their experience.
  • Evaluate new patients, understanding their medical and emotional situations, and develop personalized plans of care.
  • Treat patients, setting measurable, functional goals, and addressing their concerns and questions about their injury, progress, and probable outcomes.
  • Educate patients on treatment options and home exercises that complement their clinical sessions.
  • Supervise aides when providing modalities for non-Medicare, non-BCBSM patients, and assist with general setup and cleanup duties.
  • Monitor and re-evaluate patient progress, revising plans of care and resetting goals as needed to ensure the best possible outcome.
  • Address pain management as a crucial component of care, utilizing techniques that reduce pain and increase patients' functions and everyday activities.
  • Determine when to discharge patients, teaching them proper mechanics, ergonomics, and strategies to reduce future incidents.
  • Write timely and accurate documentation, including evaluations, re-evaluations, discharges, and daily progress notes.
  • Achieve a reasonable level of productivity, depending on referrals and patient types, with a goal of 55 to 60 treatments plus evaluations per week for a full-time Physical Therapist.
  • Participate in research studies supported by the clinic and contribute to developing protocols for common diagnoses.
  • Provide input on policies, procedures, and strategy to ensure all Team Rehabilitation clinics deliver the highest quality of care.
  • Handle patient feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Continuously develop skills by staying updated in the latest research and techniques, attending company in-house CEUs, and utilizing the continuing education allowance to attend seminars, workshops, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate or Master's in Physical Therapy
  • Valid Physical Therapy License
