Dessert Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team at UP On The Roof. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for baking a variety of desserts in our kitchen, working closely with our chefs to create new and unique recipes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage the pastry section of our kitchen, ensuring high-quality products and efficient production.
• Prepare a range of baked goods, including pastries, cookies, and other sweet treats.
• Decorate and present pastries and baked goods in a visually appealing way, adhering to our brand's aesthetic standards.
• Monitor and order ingredients, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Meet with customers to discuss custom-made desserts or baked goods for special occasions, providing exceptional customer service.
• Ensure the bakery section of our kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Identify staffing needs, assist in recruiting new personnel, and provide training to ensure a skilled and efficient team.
• Develop new seasonal recipes and menus, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and culinary innovations.
