Position Overview:

The role of a Skincare Specialist is to embody the values of European Wax Center while providing exceptional service.

The primary focus of a Skincare Specialist is to inform clients about the advantages and regularity of waxing treatments while executing these services.

As licensed skincare professionals, they also guide clients on effective skincare practices alongside our exclusive product line, Strut 365.

A Skincare Specialist collaborates with enthusiastic colleagues who share a passion for enhancing skin beauty.

Moreover, a Skincare Specialist plays a vital role in shaping the future of European Wax Center, helping clients feel beautiful, radiant, and self-assured.

Please note that this position involves retail product sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering top-notch waxing services while maintaining a positive and cheerful demeanor.
• Educating all clients on European Wax Center's 4 Step to Gorgeous Process.
• Informing clients about the Strut 365 product line and demonstrating its benefits.
• Explaining the advantages and savings associated with Wax Passes and the importance of consistent waxing.
• Updating clients on current promotions available in-center.
• Building and nurturing professional relationships with clients.
• Ensuring a pristine waxing suite at all times.
• Encouraging client retention through pre-booking appointments.
• Boosting client referrals to increase your appointment count.
• Meeting and exceeding both center and personal performance goals.
• Adhering to the assigned schedule as determined by management.
• Arranging coverage and ensuring no clients are booked when requesting time off.
• Following the reservation system managed by the Guest Services Associate.
• Arriving punctually, dressed appropriately, and wearing a nametag.
• Engaging in community events and marketing initiatives as needed.
• Participating in all Weekly Strut Sessions (minimum of 1 Strut Session per month if not scheduled).
• Actively engaging with The Hub to stay informed on resources.
• Creating memorable experiences for clients by using EWC terminology and customizing interactions.
• Complying with all corporate policies and procedures.
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the center.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must possess a valid Full Service Specialist or Cosmetology License as mandated by state and local regulations.
• Willingness to learn and apply new waxing techniques.
• Comfortable performing all body and facial waxing services offered.
• Flexibility to work various days and hours, including weekends.
• A friendly, upbeat, and approachable personality.
• Ability to accept and provide constructive feedback.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
• A strong desire to collaborate with others and energize new team members.
• Thorough understanding of EWC's values, vision, and strategy.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to learn and navigate a POS system.
