Job Description

We are seeking a talented Senior iOS Software Engineer to join our User Growth team, leading growth initiatives for TikTok and its platforms with a data-driven and results-focused engineering and product mindset.

As a key member of our team, you will leverage data to understand our users and product in-depth, identify areas of opportunity, and execute projects to drive user growth, retention, and engagement. You will design, implement, and optimize iOS applications for efficiency and performance, promoting robust and maintainable code, clear documentation, and delivering high-quality work on a tight schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Leverage data to drive user growth, retention, and engagement
  • Design, implement, and optimize iOS applications for efficiency and performance
  • Collaborate with design and product teams to create a world-class mobile experience

Qualifications
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent majors
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, capabilities, and limitations of iOS platform
  • Proficiency in Objective-C or Swift
  • Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases
  • Good team communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion and experience building consumer-facing products is a huge plus
