Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Cynet Health. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and support services in our Cardiac Cath Lab.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a mentor/preceptor to provide specialized cardiovascular and radiologic technology services. You will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, correlating clinical history with procedures ordered by physicians, and communicating with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care team members to achieve desired clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work under immediate to general supervision of a mentor/preceptor to deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services.
  • Provide safe, high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective patient-centric care and support services.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with procedures ordered by physicians.
  • Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care team members to achieve desired clinical outcomes.
  • Utilize specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment and techniques for diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures.
  • Conduct post-procedure reviews to confirm completion, documentation, and technical quality consistent with protocols.
  • Transfer images and data to appropriate archival systems; enter technical data/findings for physician reporting.
  • Perform operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, disinfecting, and maintenance per guidelines.
  • Participate in continuing education, professional development, and research activities to maintain competencies.
  • Maintain accurate records and work accurately with names, numbers, and codes.
  • Exercise discretion in handling confidential information and sound judgment.
  • Remain calm in stressful situations and demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Display initiative and commitment toward completing assignments efficiently.
  • Work and communicate with staff, patients, and families in a professional and compassionate manner.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or higher; Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited educational program or successful completion of Paramedic training program.
  • ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) or successful completion of Paramedic training program within 12 months of hire.
  • BLS must be current upon hire.
