Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer PE

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer PE to join our team in Orlando. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer PE, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for various projects, including hi-rises, commercial, educational, healthcare, institutional, municipal, and mixed-use projects.

About the Role:
  • Develops typical details, specifications, and drawing standards, including Revit standards, in coordination with the team.
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and technology updates and recommends changes in approach and client services, as appropriate.
  • Provides design inputs and reviews of team members' projects to verify conformity to quality assurance, quality control, and best practice standards.
  • Provides technical support and project communications to the team, as required.
  • Participates in team meetings to help resolve project issues, coordination with other disciplines, schedule adherence, technical issues.
Requirements:
  • BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural engineering.
  • Licensed professional engineer (P.E.) in FL, or ability to attain reciprocity.
  • 7-10+ years' of mechanical engineer & design experience. HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Systems, Boilers, Chillers, CH systems.
  • Project experience in the design of Mechanical/HVAC systems for hi-rises, commercial, educational, healthcare, institutional, municipal, and mixed-use projects.
  • Software Proficiency with AutoCAD MEP, Revit, Autodesk, energy/load simulation, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while overseeing a team and design staff.
  • Must have good people skills, including strong oral & written communications skills.
