Role Overview:
The Senior Analyst for SAP Technical Integration plays a critical role in managing and supporting the integration between SAP and various non-SAP applications, including EDI. This position serves as a technical authority overseeing SAP integration technologies and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Support Existing Integrations:**
- Manage and maintain current technical integrations between SAP and non-SAP applications, including EDI.
2. **Technical Governance:**
- Act as a technical expert for SAP integration technologies, ensuring proper governance.
3. **Architecture Maintenance:**
- Maintain comprehensive architecture diagrams for all inbound and outbound interfaces related to S/4, ensuring alignment with Level 2 business processes using tools like Visio and MS PowerPoint.
4. **Issue Management:**
- Analyze and resolve daily techno-functional issues, escalating to Project Management as necessary.
5. **Requirements Analysis:**
- Translate business requirements into technical integration specifications and architecture.
6. **Implementation Leadership:**
- Lead integration implementations and collaborate with AMS team partners on enhancements.
7. **Solution Architecture:**
- Serve as a solution architect for concurrent SAP projects, managing coordination across technical teams.
8. **Interface Development:**
- Design and develop interfaces between SAP S/4 and satellite systems, focusing on PI/PO and CPI.
9. **EDI Transactions:**
- Effectively manage and understand EDI transactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields such as MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the SAP integration domain.
- At least 3 years of experience with SAP PO / PI / CPI and SAP Cloud Integration.
- Proficient in defining integration standards and frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Platform - API management, including API lifecycle management.
- Strong integration experience with SAP on-premise and Cloud products, including SSO and security enablement.
- Familiarity with various mapping styles and protocols (B2B, EDI, HTTP, FTP, SOAP, REST).
- Experience in developing EDI integrations using SAP CPI/Integration Advisor.
- Basic understanding of IDOCs, Proxies, ODATA, and CDS Views.
- Knowledge of API security policies (OAUTH 2.0, SAML).
- Experience in a global outsourced model with both onshore and offshore resources.
- Strong understanding of SAP Build and Run methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle.
- Positive attitude with strong decision-making skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
