Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to patients in the hospital setting, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.
- Prescribe medications and therapies as needed to manage patient conditions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care discussions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices in Hospital Medicine.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C).
- 2+ years of experience as a Physician Assistant in Hospital Medicine or related field.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
