Surgical Oncologist

The Department of Surgery at the University of Southern California's Keck School of Medicine is looking for a highly skilled surgical oncologist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary sarcoma program, you will work closely with colleagues across medical oncology, orthopedics, radiation oncology, and radiology to provide comprehensive care to patients with sarcoma, melanoma, and other skin cancers.
We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in sarcoma biology and surgical techniques, as well as experience in working with immunotherapy for melanoma. The successful applicant will be able to work in a highly collaborative fashion and participate in multidisciplinary clinical decision-making and clinical trial design.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a desire to participate in clinical research. As a member of our vibrant practice in the division of Breast, Endocrine, and Soft Tissue Surgery, you will have opportunities to build programs and work with colleagues across all clinical disciplines.
Qualifications:
- Eligible for or certified by the American Board of Surgery
- Successful completion of a Complex General Surgical Oncology fellowship
- Eligible for State of California Medical License
