About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent Stress Center in Indianapolis, IN.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct behavioral health patient care, including assisting patients with activities of daily living and providing or assisting with diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions.
  • Observe and record patient behavior and activities, reporting any changes in condition and suggesting modifications to the treatment plan.
  • Establish a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred.
  • Nurse Aide credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous patient care experience, particularly in behavioral health settings.
  • Associate's degree or technical degree in a related field, or 4 years of cumulative job-specific experience.
