Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Family Practice

Core Medical Locums is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to fill a locum tenens position in Family Practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing medical support to patients in a Pre-Admissions testing Department.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough histories and physicals, ordering labs, EKGs, and x-rays as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Evaluate patient findings and develop effective treatment plans.
- Comply with anesthesia evaluation guidelines and protocols.
- Minimum of two years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner with demonstrated assessment skills.
- Successful completion of the Delineation of Privileges process at UMass Memorial Health - Harrington Hospital.
- Graduation from an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current APN licensure by the Massachusetts B.O.R.N. preferred.
- American Heart Association or equivalent B.L.S. certification for healthcare providers required upon hire or during orientation and every two years thereafter.
- American Heart Association or equivalent A.C.L.S. certification for healthcare providers required within six months of orientation and every two years thereafter.
