Kopp Glass, a premier global producer of hand-molded technical glass products, is in search of an Inspector to enhance our Inspection department. This department is crucial to our manufacturing operations, where the Inspector will engage in daily tasks related to product evaluation and process monitoring to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and contour gauges to assess glassware quality.
  • Reviews current inspection documentation, including sheets, drawings, and work instructions to establish glassware criteria.
  • Accurately identifies defects in glass products.
  • Recognizes potential for glassware reform or repair and performs minor repairs as necessary.
  • Completes ware cards and inspection reports meticulously, ensuring data accuracy and promptly reporting any inconsistencies to supervisors.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

Access to our facility is governed by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), limiting employment to U.S. Citizens and permanent residents. Candidates receiving a conditional offer will need to provide information to determine compliance with these regulations.
