**Job Summary**

We're seeking a Part Time Janitorial Specialist to join our team. As a janitorial specialist, you'll be responsible for maintaining a consistently clean, safe, and healthy building environment for our customers. This role involves performing a variety of tasks, including trash removal, restroom cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, and dusting.

Job Responsibilities

As a Part Time Janitorial Specialist, your duties will include:

  • Removing trash from containers and replacing torn or soiled liners.
  • Sweeping or vacuuming and damp mopping hard surface floors and vacuuming carpeted floors.
  • Dusting work surfaces, other furniture, and other horizontal and vertical surfaces.
  • Cleaning restrooms, including toilets, urinals, partitions, sinks, counters, mirrors, floors, and walls. Replenishing restroom dispensers with paper products and soap.
  • Cleaning entrance glass and other interior glass.
  • Responding positively and promptly to customer work orders.
  • Working effectively with other team members.
  • Conducting all work in accordance with company procedures, including safety, door lock, time & attendance, and uniform policies.
  • Operating and maintaining equipment such as vacuum cleaners.
  • Reporting building and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor.

Job Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A valid driver's license.
  • Education and work history that demonstrates a strong work ethic and responsibility.
  • The ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • The willingness and ability to work in damp, dusty, and soiled areas and clean up human waste and other body fluids as necessary.
  • The ability to lift 35 lbs and carry a 12 lbs backpack vacuum cleaner.
  • Physical ability to be on your feet during an entire shift, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
