Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as an Electrical Systems Specialist. This role will support our outside sales team by performing a variety of tasks, including answering phone calls, responding to email inquiries, and providing budgetary proposals.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an Associate's degree in a technical field and 3 years of experience in Inside Sales and customer support. Proficiency in Windows software programs and the ability to learn Sage ERP system are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering phone calls and responding to email inquiries for product support
  • Providing budgetary proposals, literature cut sheets, and manufacturer drawings and specifications for bidding purposes
  • Searching and reviewing advertised design and bid projects on a weekly basis
  • Preparing bid scope letters and pricing spreadsheets prior to bid date
  • Acknowledging order receipt to customers
  • Entering customers' orders in our ERP system
  • Executing buyout requirements to fulfill customer orders
  • Monitoring order purchasing related to customer order activity
  • Communicating with customers and staff regarding order progress and shipping expectations
  • Coordinating shipment and order fulfillment with company shipping and receiving staff

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Associate's degree in a technical field
  • 3 years of experience in Inside Sales and customer support
  • Ability to perform start-ups on drives and soft starts
  • Proficiency in Windows software programs and ability to learn Sage ERP system
  • Background in VFD's, SSS, and Motor Controls
  • Strong attention to detail and can-do attitude
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and great interpersonal skills
