School-Based Social Worker Position

School-Based Social Workers play a vital role in supporting students, families, and school staff to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges that may impact academic performance. As a School-Based Social Worker at Soliant, you will advocate for students' well-being, collaborate with educators and administrators, and connect families with resources to promote positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct counseling services to students individually and in groups, addressing their unique needs and concerns.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to address social and emotional challenges, promoting a supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create and maintain a safe and inclusive space for all students.
- Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized service plans, ensuring targeted support.
- Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and community agencies to coordinate services and resources, enhancing students' access to educational opportunities.
- Assist in crisis intervention, providing support during emergencies, and helping to establish safety plans when necessary.
- Advocate for students' rights, ensuring equal access to education and promoting a culture of inclusivity.
- A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program is required.
- Valid state licensure as a School Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is preferred.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a school or community setting is essential.
- Knowledge of mental health, behavioral interventions, and crisis management is crucial.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are necessary for success in this role.
We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as access to comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities.
