Job Title: Registered Nurse Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Waterview Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility and ensuring the highest level of care for our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Organize and supervise assigned unit activities and staff assignments
  • Monitor and respond to patient needs in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Document vital signs, treatments administered, and patient responses
  • Administer medications and treatments as needed
  • Communicate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and other vendors/services
  • Perform RN assessments and lead emergency situations
  • Maintain accurate nursing reports, staffing sheets, and census rosters
Requirements:
  • Current and good standing RN License in the State of New York
  • Previous experience with geriatric/short-term rehabilitation/Alzheimer's patients is desirable
  • Progressive nursing experience in a geriatric setting, with supervisory experience preferred
  • Dedicated to providing extraordinary, quality, compassionate care to each resident
  • Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and sometimes challenging residents
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organization skills
  • Able to work well under pressure, flexible, and will work harmoniously with all staff
