Job Summary

Mission Linen Supply is seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team as a Fleet Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on our fleet of vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Diagnose all systems and mechanisms on commercial vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance tasks such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication of equipment and machinery.
  • Diagnose and Repair defective equipment to get our vehicles back on the road quickly and safely.
  • Operate and Maintain all tools and mechanisms associated with automotive repair.
  • Evaluate and Recommend alternative methods for accomplishing vehicle preventative maintenance to ensure the most effective and efficient return on investment.
  • Follow a Preventative Maintenance Program to ensure our vehicles are always in top condition.
Requirements
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
  • Prior auto shop experience or trade school is a plus.
  • A clean DMV record is required.
