Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, with rotating Saturday shifts from 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM.

Role Summary:
As a Licensed Therapist, you will manage all facets of patient care. Your responsibilities will encompass the coordination and continuity of treatment from admission through discharge and follow-up. You will also contribute to performance enhancement and service delivery by offering comprehensive psychological therapy aimed at addressing the underlying causes and effects of addiction. This includes providing substance abuse counseling to assigned patients, as well as facilitating family and group therapy sessions.

Qualifications:
- Must possess a CDCA or higher certification or licensure in Ohio, such as:
- Licensed Social Worker
- Licensed Professional Counselor
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
- Counselors with less than one year of full-time experience in addiction treatment are required to collaborate with their supervisor to develop a competency plan before providing independent counseling services.
Core Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate completion of patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other essential documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations as well as agency policies.
- Provide patients with orientation regarding program objectives, phase system requirements, rules, regulations, sanctions, hours of service, patient rights, and additional information to facilitate their adjustment to the program.
- Assess and place each patient according to treatment phases in accordance with established standards.
- Maintain updated clinical documentation and patient charts in line with established policies.
- Support patients in crisis situations by identifying resources and coping strategies to help them manage and resolve crises.
- Guide patients who have not complied with program requirements to enhance their understanding of the consequences of noncompliance.
- Facilitate referrals to community agencies and resources as needed.
- Conduct treatment plan reviews and participate in case conferences in accordance with established protocols.
- Enhance knowledge of federal, state, and agency regulations regarding confidentiality, methadone treatment, and substance abuse counseling certification.
- Submit all internal and external correspondence to supervisor for review.
- Conduct patient intakes and lead group counseling sessions.
- Oversee the collection and testing of urine/swab drug screenings following proper procedures.
- Gather necessary documentation from patients to ensure compliance with established policies.
- Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly statistical reports to supervisor.
- Attend team meetings and complete all required training courses in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
