We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Manager to join our team at Kids R Kids Stafford. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and preparing nutritious meals for our children, ensuring compliance with state and USDA standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our children, while adhering to CACFP Food Nutrition Guidelines.
- Order and stock food and supplies necessary to prepare meals, ensuring minimal waste and optimal nutrition.
- Collaborate with the owner and director to modify menus for children with allergies, documenting all modifications and substitutes.
- Prepare meals and snacks in a way that preserves nutrients, ensures palatability, and meets the needs of our children.
- Maintain established standards of sanitation, safety, and food preparation and storage, ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of food service equipment, identifying needs and making recommendations for purchasing.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director or Owner.
The ideal candidate will possess a Food Manager's Certificate and have experience in food preparation and service. They will be available to work full-time, Monday through Friday.
