Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Manager to join our team at Kids R Kids Stafford. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and preparing nutritious meals for our children, ensuring compliance with state and USDA standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our children, while adhering to CACFP Food Nutrition Guidelines.
  2. Order and stock food and supplies necessary to prepare meals, ensuring minimal waste and optimal nutrition.
  3. Collaborate with the owner and director to modify menus for children with allergies, documenting all modifications and substitutes.
  4. Prepare meals and snacks in a way that preserves nutrients, ensures palatability, and meets the needs of our children.
  5. Maintain established standards of sanitation, safety, and food preparation and storage, ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  6. Assist in the maintenance and repair of food service equipment, identifying needs and making recommendations for purchasing.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director or Owner.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a Food Manager's Certificate and have experience in food preparation and service. They will be available to work full-time, Monday through Friday.
