Job Title: Mixing Machine Operator

At Alljuice Food & Beverag, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mixing Machine Operator to join our production team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing batch blends of juices to formulation specifications, ensuring compliance with plant policies and federal and state regulations, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and tend equipment to blend juice based on specific brix, acid ratios, and blend formulations, accurately recording batch sheet data.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)/Hazard Analysis and Risk-Based Preventive Controls (HARPC), and document pasteurization processes.
  • Perform periodic tests to ensure product quality and adherence to formulation, documenting test results and communicating deviations to management and coworkers.
  • Stage ingredients prior to start of blend, utilizing standard operating procedures (SSOPs) for blending processes.
  • Report actual usage in the Business Planning and Control System (BPCS) software system and resolve any variances in distribution.
  • Perform physical ingredient inventory as needed/directed, maintaining temperature records in refrigerated warehouse and tempering logs.
  • Adhere to quality and safety standards, performing other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or retail work experience preferred but will train the right candidate.
  • Ability to learn Business Planning and Control System (BPCS) software and report items used by lot, item number, formulation number, date of use, and/or quantity.
  • Must be detail-oriented and quick learner, able to effectively communicate and follow instructions.
  • Ability to work alone or as a member of a team, with good cooperative skills.
  • Ability to learn microbial and analytical testing procedures, communicate verbally and by written reports.

Pay: $22+/hr, wage based on experience; OT as required.
