Cardiology Department Lead

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled leader to join our Cardiology Department as a Lead. This individual will play a key role in planning, directing, and evaluating all aspects of service delivery, including operations, budgets, assets, resources, customer satisfaction, and quality management.
About the Role
The successful candidate will create an environment conducive to meeting needs and accomplishing objectives. They will work closely with the Director of Cardiovascular Services to develop strategy related to cardiac services, conduct evaluations of new cardiac services and technology, and make recommendations for implementation.
Responsibilities
- Meet expectations of OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Assist the Director of Cardiovascular Services in duties, including developing strategy related to cardiac services.
- Conduct evaluations of new cardiac services and technology, and make recommendations for implementation.
- Ensure that the goals and objectives of the unit are met and are consistent with those of the hospital and region.
- Build, support, and maintain strong relationships with Physicians involved or potentially involved in the service line.
- Assist with budget maintenance and adherence to the financial plan, including supply expense control and planning for short- and long-term capital needs.
- Integrate policies, procedures, and practices, including staff competency development and appropriate staffing and productivity across campuses to ensure a consistent level of care.
Requirements
- Associate Degree required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- 2 years of previous leadership experience in a cardiology-related field preferred.
- BLS required.
