Position Overview:
As a key member of the healthcare team, the Interventional Radiology Technologist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services. This position involves the operation of advanced imaging equipment, including x-ray units and angiography systems, while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout various interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute high-quality medical imaging using a variety of modalities such as X-ray, ultrasound, and Digital Subtraction Angiography for interventional procedures.
2. Prepare and maintain sterile environments, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are ready for each case.
3. Collaborate closely with radiologists and nursing staff to ensure seamless workflow and patient care during procedures.
4. Provide support to anesthesia teams and assist in patient positioning and specimen handling.
5. Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, including any complications and patient interactions.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in sterile techniques and familiarity with interventional radiology equipment is essential. Experience with electronic documentation systems is required.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or a related field is preferred. Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is mandatory. A valid Ohio Radiologic Technologist license is required.

Experience: A minimum of three years in a relevant field is preferred. Certification in BLS is required, with ACLS and PALS certifications to be obtained within one year.
