Job Highlights
Epic Travel Staffing is looking for a Travel RN - PCU/Neuroscience Intermediate Unit.
Shift Details: Night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, every other weekend required.
Position Length: 13 weeks
Qualifications:
- Valid Kentucky Nursing License
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Previous experience in a PCU setting required
- Current BLS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
- Experience with EMU (seizure monitoring) and Neuro patients is advantageous
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR is a plus
- EMR System: Cerner
- Bed Capacity: 25 beds
- Patient Population: Neuro patients
- Floating to other PCU and Med-Surg units may be required
- Patient Ratios: 4-5 patients per nurse (maximum 6:1)
- Equipment Utilized: Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, lumbar drains, JP drains, wound vacs, EEG machines
- Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue
