Cedar Wellness Center is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in Tacoma, WA. As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support for individuals struggling with substance use disorder.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and contribute to our mission of delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. You will work closely with our experienced medical team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, leveraging your expertise in primary care and addiction medicine.

As an Advanced Practice Provider at Cedar Wellness Center, you will have the autonomy to manage your caseload, work collaboratively with colleagues, and participate in educational programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with patients to set and achieve goals, promoting healthy behaviors and lifestyle changes
  • Manage medication regimens, including dispensing and monitoring controlled substances
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to ongoing education and training opportunities
Requirements:
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensure and certification
  • Active DEA license and ability to obtain AHA Basic Life Support certification
  • 2+ years of experience in primary care and/or addiction medicine
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative, supportive team culture

We offer a competitive salary range of $190,000 - $210,000 per year, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
