About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Digital Marketing Strategist to join our team in driving customer loyalty through email marketing. This role will focus on growing the lifetime value of our readers, enhancing customer journeys, and developing solutions that generate net new revenue streams for the business.

As a Digital Marketing Strategist, you'll lead our Email Marketing team in identifying trends and opportunities within the Financial Services Industry. You'll utilize data and analytics to optimize customer engagement, troubleshoot functionality, and develop solutions that enhance the user experience and performance of our products.

You'll work closely with the marketing and product teams to identify new email campaigns that drive retention and re-engagement of existing customers. Your primary goals will be to increase Customer LTV, Revenue Generated from Email, and Return Visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain an understanding of consumer journeys and move consumers through phases, especially within retention and re-engagement, across 5+ core verticals.
  • Utilize data and analytics to identify areas to optimize and develop solutions that enhance the user experience and performance of our products.
  • Lead the Email Marketing team in identifying trends and opportunities within the Financial Services Industry.
  • Work closely with the marketing and product teams to develop new email campaigns that drive retention and re-engagement of existing customers.
Requirements

To succeed as a Digital Marketing Strategist, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant major or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of Marketing experience, 1-2 years working directly in CRM, with a deep understanding of customer lifecycle management and demonstrable track record of applying data-driven personalization strategies.
  • Experience with email platforms and CRMs.
  • Able to access, manipulate, and understand full funnel datasets and technical platforms without oversight (SQL) and build relevant reports, dashboards, and visualizations to answer business questions (Excel, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
  • Strong grasp of relevant raw event data and ability to track data pathing from ingest to database.
