Solar Repair Technician Lead

The Solar Repair Technician Lead is a key member of our team at Purelight Power, responsible for leading a team in the repair and maintenance of roof and ground-mounted solar systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and a commitment to ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in our work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of technicians in the repair and maintenance of solar systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement training programs for technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that all aspects of solar system maintenance are covered, including electrical, mechanical, and software components.
  • Conduct regular safety audits to ensure that all team members are following safety protocols and procedures.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of all work completed, including maintenance schedules, repair history, and other relevant data.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a solar installer.
  • Proficient with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs repetitively.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work on roofs up to a 45-degree pitch.
  • Insurance-approved driving record and driver's license required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • OSHA 10 safety training.
  • 18-Hour Solar PV Boot Camp through HeatSpring.
