CNC Machinist Job Overview

Sealevel Construction is a dynamic construction company seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to operate various machines and fabricate parts with precision and accuracy. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC plasma machines, handling raw and processed steel materials, and creating programs via PC to process steel materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety First: Promote and execute the company's safety program to ensure a safe working environment.
• Material Handling: Load and unload trucks using a forklift, handle small to large pieces of steel materials, and move supplies as needed.
• Machine Operations: Create and upload programs to CNC machines to process steel materials, cut various parts of product assembly, and cut standard parts for stock in the shop area.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks in the CNC machine area.
• Coordination: Coordinate with supervisors to track material needs for projects and stock items.
• Other Duties: Perform other duties or tasks as required by the company.

Requirements:

• A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred.
• One to two years of experience operating CNC plasma machines is preferred.
• A valid State Driver's License is required.
• Forklift Certification is preferred.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on location and experience.
