We are currently seeking a Senior Transportation Engineering Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope and budget for engagements with local government clients.
- Oversee the development of comprehensive roadway design plans.
- Mentor and guide junior staff members.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams throughout all phases of project execution.
- Manage all facets of complex small to medium-sized projects or standard large projects.
- Simultaneously oversee multiple small to medium projects.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, participating in marketing and project meetings.
- Facilitate collaborative work sessions for deliverable development with team members and stakeholders.
- Coordinate project staffing and workload management to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Monitor financial performance of projects, adjusting team efforts to meet budgetary and scheduling commitments.
- Collaborate with leadership on periodic project evaluations.
- Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Experience in roadway engineering.
- Knowledge of hydraulic design principles.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Mississippi.
- Familiarity with local government processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in project management.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project; experience with Access is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
