We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our employees, customers, and assets.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers by monitoring and responding to incidents and accidents.
- Control access to restricted areas and maintain a high level of security awareness.
- Assist in transporting money and chips, and operate a company vehicle as needed.
- React to patron and employee incidents and accidents, and provide first aid as necessary.
- Monitor patron and employee passage in and out of the casino, and report any suspicious activity.
- Check for and report safety hazards, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Answer incoming calls to the facility, and direct calls or answer patron questions as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
- 1 year of security experience in a hotel/casino setting.

The employee may also be required to lift, push, and pull up to 25lbs. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
