Surety Underwriter

We are seeking a skilled Surety Underwriter to join our team at Diedre Moire Corporation. As a Surety Underwriter, you will be responsible for providing high-quality customer service to clients, producing accurate and timely surety bonds and renewals, and ensuring the delivery of bonds, renewals, and other related documentation in accordance with client needs.

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Produce accurate and timely surety bonds and renewals, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and up-to-date.
• Ensure the delivery of bonds, renewals, and other related documentation in accordance with client needs, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Invoice and work with the team on receivable collection, ensuring timely payment and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Maintain physical and electronic files for clients and bonds, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Provide administrative support to producers and management, assisting with tasks and projects as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, finance, or insurance.
• 2-5 years of experience in surety underwriting or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
• Proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Office and surety underwriting systems.
