As a key member of the Novant Health team, the Registered Nurse - Cardiac Services will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and service. This individual will work closely with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective care for patients with cardiac conditions. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to establish a personalized relationship with patients and their support systems.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with healthcare providers to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that promote optimal health or support a peaceful death.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and compassion to assist patients in navigating their health journey.
- Accept responsibility, authority, and accountability for managing and providing care in accordance with current policies and procedures.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); if licensure has been inactive for five years or more, completion of a Board-approved refresher course is required prior to reactivation.
- Experience: Telemetry, CCU, Cardiac Step-down Unit; experience in Physician Practice Environment and Coumadin Dosing is required.
- Licensure/Certification: Current RN license in the appropriate state.
