Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at California Dairies, Inc. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong understanding of dairy manufacturing processes, food safety protocols, and quality control procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operation of separators, evaporators, churns, and dryers, ensuring efficient production and high-quality products.
  • Supervise and direct a team of production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their responsibilities and performance expectations.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control procedures, including chemical usage, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including SQF, QA, GMP, HACCP, and safety policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Dairy Science, Food Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a leadership role in dairy manufacturing, with a strong understanding of production processes and quality control procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
