As a Registered Sonographer at Carilion Clinic, you will be part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of diagnostic imaging.   • Deliver High-Quality Diagnostic Services: Perform diagnostic ultrasounds for a wide range of patients, from infants to adults, and provide accurate and timely results to support patient care.
  • Operate Advanced Imaging Equipment: Utilize highly specialized equipment, including radiographic, CR, DR, and PACS systems, to capture high-quality images and support diagnostic decision-making.
  • Contribute to a Culture of Learning: Participate in the training and education of students and staff, sharing your expertise and knowledge to enhance the skills of your colleagues.
  • Provide Exceptional Patient Care: Create a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and families, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met throughout the imaging process.
What We Require:

Education and Experience: A high school graduate or equivalent, with a graduate degree from an approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training. Experience in OR and/or pediatric settings is preferred, but not required.

Licensure and Certification: ARRT registry/ARDMS in one of the following areas: OB/Gyn, Abd, or Neurosonography. CPR certification is also required.
