The analyst evaluates business operations to identify areas ripe for automation and enhancement. They work autonomously, proposing solutions that address business challenges through IT innovations. Participation in the redesign and documentation of business processes is essential for the integration of new technologies. The analyst translates high-level business needs into detailed techno-functional specifications for the IT team and oversees modifications to these specifications.Possessing insight into technological advancements, the analyst leverages this knowledge to propose solutions that enhance the competitive positioning of the supported business units.
They provide support for the technical and operational aspects of existing software solutions. Expertise in DSD/Distribution operations, process optimization methodologies, and overall ITIL practices is vital. Experience with SAP ERP / S4 and supply chain management is advantageous.Engagement in areas such as procurement, goods receipt processes, returns and damages tracking, and inventory management across various hierarchies and locations is expected.

OPTIMIZE IT WORKFLOWS AND SOLUTIONS
Conduct thorough analysis and modeling of the business landscape to develop a comprehensive understanding of workflows and technical requirements satisfied by current and proposed software solutions.
Lead teams focused on business process re-engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
Draft techno-functional requirements in the form of use cases. Organize requirements reviews and approvals, ensuring alignment with user representatives and stakeholders that use cases and process models accurately reflect specific needs.
Establish project scope and objectives while creating effective communication channels.
Articulate project requirements and communications to guarantee that the final outputs from the technical team align with end-user expectations.
One of the primary functions of a business analyst is to assess and validate solutions, ensuring that there are no gaps between the requirements and the development phases.
Facilitate collaboration between developers and module leads to ensure user needs and expectations are effectively communicated to the technical team.
Oversee the systems testing phase to confirm compliance with business user requirements.
Coordinate interactions between RBDC and solution vendors to ensure user needs and expectations are clearly communicated.
Ensure reliable and accurate data transfers from core systems.
Comprehend the overall system architecture to recommend data integration with other systems.
Engage in technical discussions as part of the project team.
Provide ongoing support to the business from a tool and process expertise perspective.
Collaborate with teams to manage new requests for data or features.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of relevant experience.
Proficient understanding of architecture, application systems design, and integration.
Ability to effectively communicate and interact with senior leadership.
Successful implementation of project methodologies for IT initiatives.
Provide expertise on the integration of applications across the organization.
Consistently apply the principles and processes of current application development methodologies.
Recognized as a subject matter expert across multiple disciplines, both internally and externally.
Manage critical communication pathways between IT, RBDC, and solution vendors.
Strongly versed in project management methodologies to drive initiatives to successful completion.
