Histology Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Histology Manager to join our team at Palm Careers LLC. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for overseeing the processing and preparation of patient result reports on specimens submitted to the Pathology section of the Laboratory.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily workflow and ensure that all specimens are processed and reported in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor quality control and quality improvement activities to ensure that our laboratory meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Assist the pathologist in the interpretation of test results and provide technical support as needed.
- Complete monthly reports and update policies and procedures as necessary.
- Ensure that all employees are properly trained and competent to perform high complexity testing procedures.
- NAACLS accredited Histologic Technician program or a minimum of an AS Degree or BS Degree from an accredited applied science program and completion of clinical rotations.
- ACSP certification as a Histologist or American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology, or an appropriately certified medical scientist.
- Current American Heart HeartSaver or Basic Life Support (BLS) card.
- Technical competence to perform high complexity testing procedures and report test results promptly, accurately, and proficiently.
