Position Summary
The Plumbing Superintendent plays a vital role at Ernest Energy Inc., tasked with guiding the on-site team to ensure timely project completion while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction. This position is crucial for the effective management and successful execution of our new construction projects across Florida.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all plumbing operations on construction sites.
  • Supervise, assess, and mentor field project team members.
  • Provide remote oversight to technicians on-site.
  • Plan, organize, and direct the execution of contracted work.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with clients, inspectors, and other trades.
  • Coordinate production efforts and participate in meetings with other trades and the general contractor to identify and resolve conflicts while ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Ensure all installations comply with quality and plumbing code standards.
  • Manage material and personnel needs to adhere to project timelines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to uphold quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports and logs.
  • Adhere to Ernest Energy Inc.'s standards of quality, safety, and best practices.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as a plumbing field supervisor managing teams and overseeing multimillion-dollar plumbing construction projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of contract drawings and specifications necessary for effective procurement and execution of plumbing work.
  • Ability to effectively de-escalate situations and communicate directly with clients.
  • Strong background in leadership, safety protocols, negotiations, planning, and contract management.
  • Possession of a valid plumbing contractor's license in Florida.
  • Preferred additional certifications: NATE, LEED, OSHA 30, ASSE 6010 Certification, and Backflow Prevention Certification.
  • Proficient understanding of the International Plumbing Code (IPC), local regulations, and construction safety standards.
  • Experience in managing Hydronic Systems and/or HVAC Air distribution systems is a plus.
  • Project management experience is essential.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office and/or G-Suite, Bluebeam, Procore, and FASTpipe.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
