Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of licensed providers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong understanding of medical procedures and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer tests and perform procedures such as blood draws, TB skin tests, and vaccinations according to certifications.
  • Provide patient care and support, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with medical procedures.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and communicating with patients and providers.
  • Participate in quality improvement processes and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Licensed in the State of South Dakota, or able to obtain upon hire.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; can be obtained upon hire.
  • National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred.
