About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Cabinetry Specialist to join our team at GAL AeroStaff Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cabinet making and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Salary and Benefits:

  • $40.00 per hour.
  • Expected hours: 40-56 per week.
  • 8-hour shift schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret 3D design data and digital industrialization standards to complete subassemblies.
  • Modify completed assemblies and sub-assemblies, checking fabricated items for accuracy.
  • Select and apply the proper glues, adhesives, and hardware.
  • Install completed cabinet assemblies or components using brackets, metal reinforcements, and angles, completing tasks within assigned time limits.
  • Determine work to be accomplished to complete assignments within established schedules and plan accordingly.
  • Accurately launch and close operations for proper data collection for time tracking and traceability.
  • Perform laminating tasks for cabinetry and related items or parts.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous cabinet making experience or equivalent.
  • Able to set up and operate all standard equipment related to cabinet making.
  • Able to work from documentation such as 3D design data, f-standards, preparation packages, etc.
  • Able to follow digital industrialization, including navigation of links and various screens.
  • Basic computer skills and able to navigate with a mouse.
  • Good working knowledge of math and geometry.
  • Able to work in both Metric and English units of measure.
  • Able to work in confined spaces.
  • Able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
