Southern Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Vascular Imaging Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Diagnostic Vascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Perform all phases of diagnostic vascular sonography, including abdominal vascular, venous doppler, carotid, and renal transplant procedures.
- Promote a collaborative environment by integrating education, research, and clinical leadership.
- Utilize effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Meet accreditation and governing body requirements, including JCAHO, federal, and state bodies.
- Associate degree in vascular technology or general ultrasound required; bachelor degree in ultrasound preferred.
- CPR certification on hire; BCLS (AHA) certificate within 60 days of hire.
- Previous experience in performing echocardiograms of all ages preferred, especially hospital-based experience.
- ARDMS (RVT) certification required.
