Job Summary:

This role contributes to the success of Starbucks by leading a team of store partners to create and maintain an exceptional customer experience. The store manager is responsible for managing the overall operation of the store, making staffing decisions, ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality, managing financial performance, and maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of store partners to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a positive store environment.
  • Manage store operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with Starbucks policies and procedures, including those related to customer service, safety, and security.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, including sales, labor costs, and inventory levels.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives and improve store performance.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to store partners to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage store appearance and maintenance, including cleaning, repairs, and maintenance of equipment and fixtures.

Requirements:

  • Must be ServSafe certified.
  • Associates degree in Hospitality Management preferred with three-five years' experience in a Retail supervisory or leadership position.
  • Experience analyzing financial reports.
  • Working knowledge of computer operating systems, including Windows databases and spreadsheet applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Working Conditions:

Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, cleaning chemicals, and loud noises. Considerable physical activity may be required.
